Eligibility Criteria

Post Name	Educational Qualification	Experience
Professor	Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline with first class at the preceding degree level (B.Tech./M.Tech.).	At least 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience of which at least 4 years should be at the level of Associate Professor.
Associate Professor	Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline with first class at the preceding degree level.	Minimum 6 years of teaching/research/industrial experience after Ph.D. of which at least 3 years should be at the level of Assistant Professor.
Assistant Professor (Grade–I)	Ph.D. degree in relevant discipline with first class at the preceding degree level.	Minimum 3 years post-Ph.D. experience in teaching/research/industry.

Qualifications, experience, and credit points will be as per the NIT Statutes (Amendment 2023) and the Gazette of India Notification No. F.NO. NITMZ/Estt./88-1/2023/4927(E) dated 05.06.2023.
