About the Post

The National Institute of Technology Mizoram (NIT Mizoram) has released an employment notice for the engagement of Temporary Faculty in two departments: BS&HSS (English) and Mechanical Engineering (ME).

NIT Mizoram is an Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Government of India and offers UG, PG and Ph.D. programmes in various disciplines.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Candidates applying for the Temporary Faculty posts must possess the prescribed qualifications in the relevant discipline from a recognized University/Institution.

Salary

Period of Engagement

The Temporary Faculty engagement will initially be for one semester.

The engagement may be extended by one additional semester based on:

The engagement may continue for a maximum of 5 semesters, subject to the prescribed conditions and a mandatory break in service as per the applicable guidelines.

Temporary Faculty engaged under this recruitment will have no claim for permanency against regular posts.

Selection Process
