Eligibility Criteria

Science Subjects

Candidates must be unmarried Indian male or female candidates.

Candidates must have passed Intermediate (10+2) or equivalent examination with:

• Mathematics
• Physics
• English

The candidate must have secured:

• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate
• Minimum 50% marks in English

Alternative Engineering Diploma Qualification

Candidates who have passed a 3-year Engineering Diploma in any of the following disciplines may also be eligible:

• Information Technology

The diploma must be from a recognized Polytechnic institute with:

• Minimum 50% marks in aggregate

Selection Process

The IAF Agniveervayu selection process consists of multiple stages.

Phase-I – Online Test

The Phase-I examination is an objective-type online test.

Key features include:

• Bilingual test in English and Hindi, as applicable.
• 1 mark for each correct answer.
• 0 marks for an unattempted question.
• 0.25 marks negative marking for each incorrect answer.
• Raw scores will be normalized.
