About the Exam
Dibrugarh University has released the Admit Card for the Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET) 2026, conducted for admission into the 2-Year Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) Programme for the academic session 2026–2028.
The B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET 2026) is scheduled to be held on 4th July 2026. Candidates seeking admission to B.Ed. programmes offered by the affiliated colleges and the Department of Education, Dibrugarh University, must qualify this entrance examination to secure admission.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
Candidates must possess any one of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Master’s Degree in Science, Social Science or Humanities with at least 50% aggregate marks, OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with specialization in Science or Mathematics securing 55% marks or equivalent Grade Point from Dibrugarh University or any other recognized university.
Note: Candidates securing 50% marks only in the Honours/Major subject but less than 50% aggregate marks in the Bachelor’s Degree are not eligible.
Entrance Examination
Admission is strictly based on qualifying the Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET 2026).
Relaxation in Marks
A relaxation of 5% in qualifying marks is available for:
- SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD candidates.
- Candidates having at least 5 years of teaching experience in a school recognized up to Class X by ASSEB.
A candidate can avail relaxation under only one category.
Application Fee

Selection Process
Admission will be based on:
Common Entrance Test (CET)
- Maximum Marks: 70
Career Performance
- Maximum Marks: 30
- Based on percentage secured in:
- HSLC
- Higher Secondary
- Bachelor’s Degree
- Master’s Degree (where applicable)
Each examination contributes 10% of the percentage obtained.
