About the Posts
Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat has released an official notification for the recruitment of 489 contractual vacancies under CSS-ATMA (Agriculture Extension), Directorate of Agriculture, Assam. Eligible Indian citizens are invited to apply online for District and Block level positions.
All posts are purely temporary (contractual) and co-terminus with the project, carrying fixed monthly remuneration. Selection will be made through an OMR-based written examination.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality: Must be an Indian citizen.
Age Limit:
- Deputy Project Director, Accountant cum Clerk, Computer Programmer: 21–40 years as on 01.01.2025
- Block Technology Manager, Assistant Technology Manager: Upper age: 45 years as on 01.01.2025
Age calculated based on HSLC Admit Card.
Educational Qualification & Experience

Reservation
- Reservation applicable as per Assam SC/ST (Reservation of Vacancies) Act 1979.
- 30% reservation for women candidates.
- 4% reservation for PwD candidates.
