About the Examination
The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for recruitment to various Group A and Group B administrative posts under the Government of Assam.
This is one of the most prestigious state-level examinations, conducted in three stages:
- Preliminary Examination
- Main Examination
- Interview
The examination recruits officers for services such as:
- Assam Civil Service (ACS)
- Assam Police Service (APS)
- Assam Finance Service (AFS)
- Inspector of Taxes, Labour, Excise, and other administrative posts
