Eligibility Criteria

1. Nationality & Domicile

• Must be an Indian Citizen (Articles 5–8 of the Constitution).
• Must be a permanent resident of Assam.
• Required proof: Assam PRC or Employment Exchange Registration Certificate.

2. Educational Qualification

• Graduate in Arts, Science, or Commerce from a recognized University.
• Preference given to candidates with subjects in Economics, Statistics, or Mathematics.
• Desirable: 6-month Diploma in Computer Application.

3. Age Limit (as on January 1, 2025)

• Min: 21 years
• Max: 38 years

Age Relaxation

• SC/ST: +5 years (up to 43 years)
• OBC/MOBC: +3 years (up to 41 years)
• Ex-Servicemen: Up to 50 years; further +3 years for OBC/MOBC, +5 years for SC/ST
• PwBD: +10 years
• Govt. Employees of Assam: Up to 45 years; additional relaxations for SC/ST as per norms
