About the Examination

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) conducts the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) for recruitment to various Group A and Group B administrative posts under the Government of Assam.

This is one of the most prestigious state-level examinations, conducted in three stages:

1. Preliminary Examination
2. Main Examination
3. Interview

The examination recruits officers for services such as:

• Assam Civil Service (ACS)
• Assam Police Service (APS)
• Assam Finance Service (AFS)
• Inspector of Taxes, Labour, Excise, and other administrative posts
