About the Recruitment

The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has released an official notification for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), Secretariat Security Force (SSF), and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

• Must have passed Matriculation (10th Class) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age Limit (as on 01 January 2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 years
• Maximum Age: 23 years

Selection Process

1. Computer-Based Examination (CBE)
2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET)
