Eligibility Criteria

CriteriaDescription
Educational QualificationMBA/PGDM/MSW/Post Graduation in Rural Development or related subjects (Two-year full-time/regular) from reputed institutions/universities. OR Any Graduation for retired officers from State/Central Government services, Banks, or Public Financial Institutions with proven track record.
ExperienceMinimum 5 years of post-qualification experience in development projects, preferably with exposure to district or sub-district level rural operations.
Other SkillsExcellent command over English (written and spoken), proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and strong analytical/reporting skills.
Age LimitPreferably below 35 years (Relaxation applicable for retired officers as mentioned above).

Job Description

  • Identify developmental needs of districts through consultations with stakeholders.
  • Prepare annual work plans and proposals for NABARD-funded projects.
  • Act as liaison between NABARD, District Administration, local governments, and community organizations.
  • Support capacity building of NGOs, SHGs, and FPOs to strengthen local economies.
  • Facilitate district credit planning and enhance financial inclusion.
  • Strengthen partnerships between farmers and financial institutions.
  • Coordinate with Regional Rural Banks and Cooperative Banks for business enhancement.
  • Monitor project progress and prepare analytical reports.
  • Maintain district-level data and document outcomes.
