About the Post

Manipur Technical University, Imphal — a state university established under the Manipur Technical University Act, 2016 and recognized by UGC under Section 2(f) and 22 of the UGC Act, 1956 — has announced a walk-in interview for the recruitment of Project Assistant under the Short-Term Research Project funded by the R&D and Bio-Technology Scheme of DST, Manipur (2024–25).
The selected candidate will work on a research project titled “Investigating dynamic alterations of the course of Imphal river in the Imphal valley through remote sensing and GIS technologies.” The engagement is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.

Pay Scale

The appointed Project Assistant will receive a consolidated salary of ₹7,000/- per month. No additional allowances are applicable.

• Candidates must possess M.Sc. in Earth Sciences or Geology from a recognized university.
• Candidates with experience in ArcGIS Software (minimum 5 years) will be given preference.
• Candidates must fulfill the age limit as specified and bring all original documents for verification during the interview.
