About the Post

The BRIC-Institute of Bioresources and Sustainable Development (IBSD), Imphal — an autonomous institute under the Department of Biotechnology, Government of India — has invited applications from eligible candidates for project-based positions under the research project titled “Surveillance of Foodborne Disease Pathogens in North East India: Phase-II” funded by the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR).

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• For Project Technical Support–III:
  M.Sc. in Microbiology / Medical Microbiology with at least 3 years of research experience in microbial isolation and molecular techniques.
• For Project Technical Support–II:
  M.Sc. in Microbiology / Biotechnology with 1 year of research experience in the field of Microbiology.

Desirable Experience:

• Hands-on experience in microbial isolation, molecular biology techniques, and pathogen surveillance will be preferred.
