About PM POSHAN Assam
The Pradhan Mantri Poshan Shakti Nirman (PM POSHAN), formerly known as the Mid-Day Meal Scheme, is a flagship initiative by the Government of India designed to enhance nutrition, school enrollment, retention, and attendance among children. - One egg per week per child is provided to improve protein intake.
- Soya-based alternatives are available for vegetarian children.
