As per the schedule, the HSLC (Class 10) Final Examination 2026 will be conducted from 10 February 2026 to 27 February 2026.

  • Subjects marked with an asterisk (*) have 2-hour durations.
  • Morning shift: 9 AM – 11 AM, Evening shift: 1:30 PM – 3:30 PM.

Important Instructions to Students

1. Extra Reading Time

  • 5 minutes extra time will be given:
    • Morning shift: 8:55 AM to 9:00 AM
    • Afternoon shift: 1:25 PM to 1:30 PM
  • Only for reading the question paper.

2. Modern Indian Languages (MIL)

Includes: Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Hindi, Manipuri, Hmar, Nepali, Mizo, Khasi, Garo, Karbi & Urdu.

3. Elective & In Lieu Languages

  • Elective subjects: 3 hours
  • In Lieu languages: 2 hours
  • Common question paper for Assamese (E), Hindi (E), Manipuri (E), Santhali (E).

4. Group A & B Rules

  • Elective candidates must appear for both Groups A & B.
  • In Lieu candidates appear for Group A only.
