About the Post
The National Common Entrance Test (NCET) is a national-level entrance exam conducted by the NTA, in collaboration with the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), for admission to the 4-Year Integrated Teacher Education Programme (ITEP). Qualifying NCET is mandatory for admission into Central/State Universities, IITs, NITs, RIEs, and Government Colleges for the 2025-2026 academic session.
As per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, the 4-year integrated B.Ed. program is designed as a dual-major holistic degree in Education along with a specialized subject such as Mathematics, Science, History, Languages, Economics, Physical Education, Arts, and more. The curriculum covers teaching methodologies, foundational literacy & numeracy, psychology, sociology, and Indian traditions & values.

- Candidates who have passed Class 12 or appearing in 2025 are eligible to apply.
Age Limit: There is no specific age limit for the recruitment. However, candidates must meet the age criteria prescribed by their respective universities/institutions for eligibility.
