What qualifications do I need to apply for the Electrical PSO post?
You need a BE/B.Tech in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks from a recognized institute. Experience in substations or electrical projects is desirable but not mandatory.
I have a degree in IT. Can I apply for the IT PSO post?
Yes, graduates in Computer Science/IT, MCA, or M.Sc. (IT/CS) with 60% marks or more are eligible. Relevant IT experience is preferred.
Is there any age relaxation for reserved categories?
Yes, age relaxation is as per Government of India rules for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-servicemen candidates. General category limit is 40 years as on 01/10/2025.
What documents do I need to bring to the walk-in interview?
Carry original and self-attested copies of all educational certificates, experience certificates, caste/PwBD certificate (if applicable), ID proof, and two passport-size photos.
I am currently working in a government organization. Can I attend the interview?
Yes, but you must bring a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer, or submit the Undertaking form (Annexure-B) available on the CPP-IPR website.
Will there be any written test for selection?
The selection is primarily through walk-in-interview, including verification of documents and evaluation of experience and skills. Additional screening may be conducted at CPP-IPR’s discretion.
How much will I get paid if selected?
The monthly salary is Rs. 56,000 plus HRA. Medical facilities for self are provided as per DAE rules. No other allowances are included.
Can the contract be extended beyond one year?
Yes, the contract may be extended depending on project requirements and your performance. Performance reviews are conducted every six months.
Do I need to register online before attending the interview?
No prior online registration is required. Just bring the filled application form (Annexure-A) to the interview.
Will CPP-IPR reimburse travel expenses for attending the interview?
No, candidates have to attend the interview at their own expense.
