Selection Process

The selection process consists of three stages:

Stage 1: Written Examination (600 Marks)

Note: Subjects must be selected from the approved list. Restrictions apply on combinations.

Stage 2: Physical Efficiency Test

• Male: 25 km walk in 4 hours
• Female: 16 km walk in 4 hours
• Followed by Medical Examination and fitness verification.

Stage 3: Interview (75 Marks)

Training Details (Post Selection)

• Selected candidates must join an 18-month Certificate Course in Forestry at a Government-approved training institute.
• A bond of ₹5,00,000 must be signed with the Government.
• A caution deposit of ₹6,000 is required.
• Salary and allowances will be paid during training.
