About the Post
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) invites online applications from eligible Indian citizens for recruitment to various posts in Grade A and B. This includes Legal Officer, Manager (Technical – Civil & Electrical), and Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha & Protocol/Security) under the Non-CSG stream. The recruitment is for the year 2024 (PY-2024) and offers an opportunity to work with India’s central banking institution.

Ph.D. holders get 2 years of age relaxation for Rajbhasha post.
Selection Procedure
- Legal Officer, Assistant Manager (Rajbhasha), and Manager (Technical):
Online Examination (Objective & Descriptive) + Interview. - Assistant Manager (Protocol & Security):
Objective Online Test + Interview.
The final merit list will be prepared based on combined marks of the exam and interview.

How to Apply?

- Go to Opportunities@RBI > Current Vacancies > Vacancies
- Click on “Recruitment for the posts of Non-CSG – PY 2024”
- Register using the New Registration tab and fill the form.
- Upload scanned documents as per specifications.
- Submit application and pay the fee through online payment gateway.
Scribe and Compensatory Time
- Scribe Facility:
Permissible for PwBD candidates with benchmark disabilities such as visual impairment, cerebral palsy, dwarfism, etc.
Must be declared at the time of online application. - Compensatory Time:
PwBD candidates eligible for extra time whether using a scribe or not. Must opt during application.

- Straight face, no headgear (except religious)
- Live photograph via webcam/mobile also required during application
General Instructions
- Only one application per candidate; multiple applications will be rejected.
- OBC-NCL candidates must produce certificates based on FY 2022–2025, issued on/after April 1, 2025.
- No certificates (like age, caste, education) are required to be submitted at the application stage.
- Disqualification for misconduct includes:
- Impersonation or document forgery
- Using unfair means or mobile phones in exam
- Misbehaving or violating any exam instructions
- Applying with false information

- Online only: Credit/Debit Cards, Net Banking, Wallets, IMPS
- E-Receipt generation confirms successful payment
- Fee once paid is non-refundable

Yes, Guwahati is one of the centres.
Can I apply for multiple posts?
Yes, but each post must be applied for separately if eligible.

Can a candidate without a Law degree apply for the Legal Officer post?
No, a Bachelor’s in Law and experience are mandatory.
