About the Post
Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), a Fortune Global 500 Company and a leading Public Sector Undertaking, has released Advertisement No. IOCL/MKTG/ER/APPR/2025-26 dated 10 December 2025 for engagement of Trade, Technician and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Applications are invited for apprenticeship training at IOCL (Marketing Division), Eastern Region, covering the States/UTs of West Bengal, Bihar, Odisha, Jharkhand, Assam, Sikkim, Tripura, Nagaland, Mizoram, Meghalaya, Manipur, Arunachal Pradesh and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.

Note: The number of seats is tentative and subject to change as per management discretion and applicable reservation guidelines.
Educational Qualification (Discipline-wise)
Trade Apprentices (ITI)
- Fitter, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Instrument Mechanic, Machinist
- Qualification: Matric + 2-year full-time ITI in relevant trade (NCVT/SCVT)
Technician Apprentices (Diploma)
- Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, Civil, Electronics, Electrical & Electronics
- Qualification: 3-year full-time Diploma in relevant engineering discipline
- Minimum Marks:
- General/EWS/OBC-NCL: 50%
- SC/ST/PwBD: 45%
Graduate Apprentices
- BA / B.Com / B.Sc / BBA
- Qualification: Full-time regular Graduation in any discipline
Trade Apprentice – Data Entry Operator
- Class 12th (below graduate)
- For skilled category: Skill Certificate of Domestic Data Entry Operator (NSQF-recognized)
Only full-time regular courses are eligible. Distance/part-time qualifications are not accepted.
Age Limit (as on 31 December 2025)

Period of Apprenticeship

Selection Method
- No written test or interview
- Merit list based on percentage of marks in the prescribed qualification
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for Document Verification and Pre-engagement Medical Examination
Stipend
- As per the Apprentices Act, 1961 and Apprentices Rules, as amended from time to time
How to Apply?
- Candidates must register and apply through the respective portals:
- Trade Apprentices (ITI / DEO): Apprenticeship India (NAPS)
- Technician & Graduate Apprentices: NATS Portal
- After applying on NAPS/NATS, candidates must also submit details through the Microsoft Form within the stipulated timeline.
- Only one discipline code can be applied for.
