Selection Process (Scheme of Examination)

How to Apply?

Candidates must apply online through the official website mha.gov.in or ncs.gov.in. Follow these steps carefully:

Step 1: Registration

  • Visit the website www.mha.gov.in or www.ncs.gov.in.
  • Read instructions, select “I Agree”, and click ‘Registration/Sign-up’.
  • Enter personal and contact details.
  • A Login ID and Password will be sent to your registered email ID.

Step 2: Fill Application Form

  • Re-login using the credentials received.
  • Select the category and fill up Personal Details and Qualification Details.
  • Select SIB: Choose the Subsidiary Intelligence Bureau (SIB) carefully. SIB once opted cannot be changed. Ensure you have the Domicile Certificate for that state.

Step 3: Upload Documents

  • Photograph: Recent passport size colour photo (100-200KB in jpg/jpeg format, not older than 12 weeks).
  • Signature: Scanned signature (80-150KB in jpg/jpeg format).

Step 4: Fee Payment

  • Pay the Examination Fee (if applicable) and Recruitment Processing Charges.
  • Mode: Online via SBI EPAY LITE (Net banking/Debit/Credit cards/UPI) or SBI Challan.
  • Note: Recruitment Processing Charges are to be paid by all candidates.

Step 5: Submission

  • Review the application carefully.
  • Submit the form. Application once submitted cannot be withdrawn.
  • Take a printout of the final application for reference.

What is the qualification required for IB MTS 2025?

Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th) or equivalent and must possess a Domicile Certificate of the State they are applying for.

Can I apply for any SIB state?
