About the Post
Indian Air Force (IAF) has released the official Agniveervayu Intake 02/2027 Notification under the Agnipath Scheme. Unmarried Indian male and female candidates can apply online for the Agniveervayu Selection Test scheduled on 22nd & 23rd September 2026.
Eligible candidates can submit their online applications from 6th July 2026 to 26th July 2026 through the official recruitment portal.

Eligibility Criteria
Nationality
Applicants must be Indian citizens.
Marital Status
- Only unmarried male and female candidates are eligible.
- Candidates must remain unmarried throughout the four-year engagement period.
- Female candidates must not become pregnant during the engagement period.
Age Limit
Candidates should be born between 1st July 2005 and 1st January 2010 (both dates inclusive).
The maximum age at the time of enrolment should not exceed 22 years.
Educational Qualification
Science Stream
Candidates must have passed:
- 10+2/Intermediate with Physics, Mathematics and English securing 50% aggregate marks and 50% in English, OR
- 3-Year Engineering Diploma with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR
- 2-Year Vocational Course with Physics & Mathematics and 50% aggregate with 50% in English.
Other Than Science Stream
Candidates must have passed:
- 10+2 in any stream with 50% aggregate and 50% in English, OR
- 2-Year Vocational Course with 50% aggregate and 50% in English.
Physical Standards
Height
Male: 152 cm
Female: 152 cm
- 147 cm for female candidates from North-East & hilly regions of Uttarakhand.
- 150 cm for female candidates from Lakshadweep.
Chest
- Male: Minimum 77 cm with 5 cm expansion.
- Female: Minimum 5 cm chest expansion.
Hearing
Normal hearing (6 metres).
Dental
Minimum 14 dental points with healthy gums.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed medical and visual standards.

Seva Nidhi Package
After successful completion of four years, Agniveervayu will receive approximately:
- ₹10.04 Lakh (excluding interest) as Seva Nidhi Package.
