About the Post
North Eastern Electric Power Corporation Limited (NEEPCO), a Schedule ‘A’ “Mini Ratna” Category-I Central Public Sector Enterprise under the Ministry of Power, Government of India, and a wholly owned subsidiary of NTPC Limited, invites applications from eligible candidates for 98 Apprenticeship Training positions for FY 2025–26 under the Apprenticeship Act, 1961. The apprentices will be engaged for a period of one year across NEEPCO’s various Plants, Projects, and Establishments in the North Eastern Region.

Eligibility Criteria
For Graduate Engineering & Diploma Engineering:
- Candidate must be a resident of North East India.
- Graduation/Diploma must not be completed before 31st March 2024.
- Minimum 40% marks required.
- Must possess Aadhaar Card (mandatory), PAN, Voter ID, or Passport for registration.
For Non-Engineering Graduate:
- Graduation should not be completed before 31st March 2024.
- Minimum 35% marks required.
- Must possess Aadhaar Card (mandatory) or other valid ID proof.
For ITI Trade Apprentices:
- Must have completed the relevant ITI course.
- Must possess Aadhaar Card (mandatory) or other valid ID proof.

Selection Process
- Candidates will be shortlisted based on merit as per marks secured in their degree, diploma, or ITI course.
- Preference will be given to candidates belonging to the state where the power station is located.
- Remaining seats will be filled based on inter-state merit within the North Eastern Region.

- Complete registration and obtain a valid enrolment ID from the Board of Practical Training (BOPT).
- Log in using your registered ID and password.
- Search for “NEEPCO” in the dashboard and locate the specific Advertisement ID mentioned in the notification.
- Apply for the relevant establishment and stream according to your qualification and eligibility.
For ITI Trade Apprentices (Electrician, Lineman, Plumber):
- Register online through National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) portal: Click Here.
- Click on Register → Candidate Option and complete your registration.
- Log in using the registered credentials.
- Search for NEEPCO (Establishment Code: E02161700001).
- Apply for your preferred trade opportunity code as per the advertisement.
Note:
