What type of job is this—permanent or contractual?
These posts are regular administrative positions with Pay Level–12. However, the final nature of appointment will be as per Institute rules.
Can candidates from outside Meghalaya apply?
Yes, candidates from anywhere in India can apply if they meet the eligibility criteria.
Do I need exactly 12 years of experience, or is slightly less acceptable?
The institute requires minimum 12 years, but in exceptional and deserving cases, the Institute may relax requirements.
Will incomplete applications be accepted for review?
No. Both online submission and hardcopy submission must be completed; otherwise, the application is rejected.
How will I know if I am shortlisted for the interview?
Shortlisted candidates will receive an email. If you don’t receive one, it means your application was not shortlisted.
Is the application fee refundable?
No. The application fee is strictly non-refundable.
Do I need to send original certificates by post?
No. Only self-attested copies are required at this stage.
What if my documents reach after the deadline?
Documents received after 07 January 2026 will not be considered under any circumstances.
Is NOC mandatory for candidates working in Government organisations?
Yes. They must send the application through proper channel or submit NOC during the interview.
Will the institute conduct written tests for these posts?
As per notification, the selection is interview-based. However, the Screening Committee has the right to add criteria if required.
