Selection Procedure

Stage 1: Written Examination (120 Marks)

  • Duration: 2 Hours
  • OMR-Based Objective Questions
  • Subjects:
    • General English – 50 Marks
    • General Knowledge (including Computer) – 30 Marks
    • General Aptitude – 20 Marks
    • Official Language (Assamese) – 20 Marks (Qualifying only; 8 marks minimum required)

Negative Marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer

Stage 2: Computer Skill Test (35 Marks)

  • Typing Test – 20 Marks (Accuracy & Speed)
  • Word Processor & Spreadsheet – 15 Marks

Stage 3: Viva-Voce (15 Marks)

Final merit list will be based on a grand total of 150 marks (Written + Skill Test + Viva).
