About the Admission

The Directorate of Employment and Craftsmen Training (DECT), Assam has released the official notification for Assam ITI Admission 2025. Candidates can now apply for admission into various Government and Private ITIs across Assam for the session 2025–2026. Admissions are open for both NCVT and SCVT trades, including trades under IMC (Institute Management Committee).

Course-Wise Eligibility Criteria

1. 1-Year Courses (Class 10 Passed)
   e.g., Stenographer, Fashion Design, DTP, Cosmetology, Fire Safety, Digital Photography, etc.
2. Computer Operator & Programming Assistant
   Duration: 1 year | Qualification: 10th Passed
3. Bodo Language Transcription Trade (BLTT)
   Duration: 6 months | Qualification: 10th Passed
4. 1-Year Technical Courses (10th with Science & Math)
   e.g., Mechanic Diesel, Solar Technician, etc.
5. COE Sector Trades (BBBT modules)
   Duration: 1 year | Qualification: 10th Passed
6. 2-Year Trades (10th with Science & Math)
   e.g., Electrician, Fitter, Surveyor, Electronics Mechanic, etc.
7. Painter General
   Duration: 2 years | Qualification: 10th Passed
8. Mechanic Agricultural Machinery / Soil Testing
   Duration: 2 years / 1 year | Qualification: 10th with Science & Math
9. Wireman / Welder / Plumber / Sewing Technology, etc.
   Duration: 1–2 years | Qualification: 8th Passed

4. Log in using your Application Number & Password
5. Fill in all personal and academic details
6. Upload required documents

ITI Admission Fees

NCVT/SCVT Trades:

• Tuition Fee: ₹600/year or ₹1200/2 years
• Caution Money: ₹250
• Registration Fee: ₹25
• Medical Fee: ₹25
• Trainee Union Fee: ₹175 (1 year) / ₹350 (2 years)
• Hostel Charges (if applicable): ₹50 + ₹250 caution money

SCVT under IMC Courses:

• Non-Engineering: ₹15,000/year
• Engineering: ₹16,500 (1 year) / ₹33,000 (2 years)

Note: BPL candidates are exempted from tuition fees (except SCVT under IMC).
