About the Admission

Dibrugarh University has issued the official notification for the Dibrugarh University B.Ed. Common Entrance Test (B.Ed. CET) 2025 for admission into the 2-Year B.Ed. Programme for the academic session 2025–2027. All aspiring candidates seeking admission into B.Ed. courses offered by the Department of Education and affiliated colleges under Dibrugarh University must appear and qualify in the CET. The entrance test is scheduled to be held on 12/07/2025, and the online application process has begun from 05/05/2025.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification:

• Minimum 50% marks (aggregate) in Bachelor’s and/or Master’s Degree in Sciences/ Social Sciences/ Humanities.
• Or 55% in Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering/Technology with specialisation in Science and Mathematics.
• Degrees must be from Dibrugarh University or any university recognized by it.

Note: Candidates with 50% marks in Honours/Major but less than 50% aggregate are not eligible.

Entrance Test Requirement:

• Appearing and qualifying in the B.Ed. CET 2025 is mandatory.

Relaxation in Marks (5%) is applicable to:

• SC/ST/OBC/MOBC/PWD candidates.
• Candidates with minimum 5 years of school teaching experience (Class 10 level or above).
• Note: Only one category of relaxation can be claimed per candidate.

2. Click on the Online Application Form link.
3. Register using your name, mobile number, and a password (OTP verification required).
4. Login using your mobile number and password.
5. Fill in all personal and educational details as required.
6. Upload scanned copies of a passport-size photo and your signature.
7. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
8. Print a copy of the submitted application for reference.

Career Performance Calculation:
10% of the marks secured in HSLC, HS, Graduation, and/or Post-Graduation.
Example: 53% in Graduation = 5.3 marks in career performance.

Final Selection:
Candidates must apply to their preferred colleges after CET results. Admission is based on combined CET and career marks, evaluated by individual institutions.
