Key Educational Qualification Rules

• Minimum qualification: 3-year Diploma in the relevant Engineering discipline.
• Higher qualification (B.E/B.Tech) is acceptable in the same discipline.
• For CMA: B.Sc in Physics & Chemistry (45% minimum).
• For DMS: Diploma in any Engineering discipline.

Selection Procedure

The RRB JE Selection Process generally includes:

How to Apply?

Step 1:
Visit the official website dect.assam.gov.in and open the prescribed online application form.

Step 2:
Read all instructions carefully before filling out the form.

Step 3:
Prepare the required documents in scanned format:

• Latest passport size photograph
• HSLC Admit Card/Pass Certificate
• Certificate and marksheet of the qualifying examination
• Scanned signature
• Valid Employment Exchange Registration Certificate
• Caste Certificate (if applicable)
• Declaration in Form “A” under the Assam Public Services (Small Family Norms) Rules, 2019
• PwD Certificate (if applicable)
• Personal ID proof (Aadhaar/Voter ID/Driving License/Bank Passbook first page)

Step 4:
Fill out the online application form and upload all required documents.

Step 5:
Submit the online form. No hard copies or documents need to be sent to the Directorate.

Step 6:
Candidates already employed must inform their appointing authority in writing about the submission of the online application.

Permission to appear in the Written Test or to join service after selection will depend solely on the candidate’s appointing authority. The Directorate will not be responsible if permission is not granted.
