About the Post
RITES Ltd., a multi-disciplinary Engineering and Consultancy organization, invites applications for Individual Consultants on contractual assignments. These positions are CV-based, project-specific engagements for professionals in Civil, Environmental, Structural, and Public Health Engineering.
The consultants will work on projects related to Urban Service Delivery, Water Supply, Sewerage, Drainage, and Quality Assurance. Engagement is on a temporary basis, with remuneration on a monthly basis as per the post.

3. Individual Consultant: Senior Quality cum Material Engineer

| Experience & Expertise | • 15 years after Graduation in Civil/Environmental/Public Health Engineering• Minimum 10 years in quality control in Water/Sewerage sector• Handled at least 5 similar projects as QA/QC Engineer• Experience in establishing Quality Assurance Programs in STPD/UGD/WSS projects• Worked on projects cumulatively worth ₹500 crore in WSS/Sewerage/Drainage |

Contractual Terms & Conditions
- Individual Consultants are independent contractors, not employees of RITES Ltd.
- Consultants must follow RITES Ltd. guidelines, comply with all laws, and avoid conflicts of interest.
- All work produced under the contract is the property of RITES Ltd.
- Compliance with Indian Official Secrets Act, 1923 is mandatory.
- Consultant responsible for personal insurance; medical clearance may be required.
- Either party can terminate contract with 1-month notice; immediate termination for misconduct/conflict of interest.
- Audits & investigations may be conducted up to 2 years after contract.
General Terms & Conditions
- Tenure can be extended based on performance review, not beyond 65 years.
- Retired government servants may be hired via competitive process.
- Full-time consultants cannot take other assignments during engagement.
- Remuneration may be revised annually based on escalation in client’s fee.
- Leaves: 1.5 days per completed month; maternity leave as per Maternity Benefit Act.
- Taxes: TDS as per applicable rules; GST as applicable.
- Police Verification is mandatory.
- No TA/DA for joining or interview.
Selection Process

- Only shortlisted candidates will appear in interview.
- Final engagement is subject to client approval of CVs.
