Period & Conditions of Contract

  • Purely on contract basis
  • Initial tenure: 3 years, reviewed annually
  • Extension: 2 additional years based on performance
  • Termination: 1-month notice from either side
  • Eligible for 20 days leave per year
  • No additional benefits like permanent employees
  • Substitute arrangement during absence must be made by the BMO at own cost

Job Role

  • Attend staff, dependents, and pensioners at designated Bank dispensaries
  • Diagnose ailments, prescribe treatment, administer injections
  • Issue and countersign medical certificates
  • Arrange hospital facilities for staff and family (spouse and children)
  • Scrutinise medical and hospitalisation bills
  • Issue order forms for special/costly drugs to Bank-approved chemists
  • Provide medical opinion for transfer requests on medical grounds
  • Provide emergency sessions/telemedicine when required
  • Ensure smooth operation of the dispensary

Other Conditions

  • Appointment does not grant permanent/part-time permanent employee benefits
  • No additional staff allowed except Bank-provided compounder
  • Bank may revise remuneration or duty hours as needed
  • Canvassing will lead to disqualification
  • Bank reserves full rights to reject applications without reason
