Advertisement for Project Assistant Position at AAU, Jorhat
The Department of Entomology at Assam Agricultural University (AAU), Jorhat, has announced an interview for the position of Project Assistant under the AICRP on Biological Control project. The interview is scheduled for December 16, 2024, at 3:00 PM onwards. Interested candidates with the requisite qualifications are invited to attend the interview with their biodata, self-attested copies of educational certificates, and a recent passport-size photograph. Original copies of certificates must be presented at the time of the interview. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

About the Post:
The position is for a Project Assistant under the AICRP on Biological Control project. The selected candidate will receive a monthly emolument of Rs. 25,000. The minimum qualification required is an M.Sc. (Agri.) in Entomology. The engagement is initially for one year.

General Terms and Conditions:
a) Age limit is 35 years (with a relaxation of 5 years for ST/SC and 3 years for OBC candidates). b) The post is purely temporary and is initially offered for one year. c) The person employed will have no right to claim employment or engagement in AAU at the end of the contract period. d) The decision of the selection committee will be final.
