Eligibility
The educational qualification and experience requirements are different for each post.
Junior Superintendent
Candidates should have:
- Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline with at least 55% marks
- Relevant experience as prescribed in the official notification

Junior Technician
Different technical groups require qualifications in the relevant subjects or branches.
Group-I: Science degree with Chemistry or Physics.
Group-II: Mechanical, Metallurgical, Ceramic or Materials Science Engineering.
Group-III: Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
Group-IV: Civil Engineering, Architecture or Mining.
Group-V: Computer Science or Information Technology.
Depending on the post, candidates may require a Bachelor’s Degree or a 3-year Diploma with relevant experience.
Junior Library Assistant
Candidates should have one of the following:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Library & Information Science with 55% marks, or
- Diploma in Library & Information Science with a Bachelor’s Degree, or
- Two-year integrated M.Lib. & Information Science degree with 55% marks
Assistant Engineer
Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering with the required relevant post-qualification experience.
Junior Engineer
B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering with relevant experience, or a 3-year Diploma in Civil Engineering with the required experience.
Junior Translation Officer
Bachelor’s Degree in Hindi along with relevant translation experience in English-to-Hindi and Hindi-to-English translation.
Age Limit
The maximum age limit varies according to the post.
- Junior Technician: Up to 27 years
- Junior Library Assistant: Up to 30 years
- Junior Superintendent, Junior Engineer and Junior Translation Officer: Up to 35 years
