About the Post
North East Frontier Railway (NFR), Tinsukia Division, invites applications from eligible and interested candidates for the engagement of Homeopathic Consultant at the Homeopathic Dispensary, Tinsukia Railway Health Unit, under the Staff Benefit Fund (SBF).
The engagement will be purely contractual, initially for one year, and extendable based on administrative requirements.

Is this a permanent Railway job?
No, it is purely contractual under Staff Benefit Fund. It does not grant any claim for permanent Railway employment.
Do I need experience to apply?
Yes. A minimum of 5 years of Homeopathic practice experience is required.

No. Contractual consultants are not eligible for Railway benefits like quarters, allowances, medical facilities, or passes.
What is the working schedule?
You will work as per OPD timings of the Indigenous System of Medicine Clinic. Weekly and gazetted holidays apply.

Selection is based on qualification, experience, and past work record, followed by an interview.
Can I apply if I am already working in a government organization?
Yes, but you must submit a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from your employer.
Will there be age relaxation?
No. The upper age limit is 70 years, without relaxation.
