About the Post

The Office of the Project Director, ITDP, Morigaon District (Government of Assam) has invited applications from eligible Indian citizens and permanent residents of Assam for temporary contractual engagement in the District FRA Cell, Morigaon.
The recruitment is being conducted under Government Memo No. ECF 280499 dated 04/10/2025, to fill two important positions — Coordinator (FRA) and MIS/Programme (FRA) Associate.
These positions are purely contractual and aim to strengthen the implementation and monitoring of the Forest Rights Act (FRA) at the district level.

Eligibility Criteria

For Coordinator (FRA)

Criteria	Details
Educational Qualification	Master’s degree in Social Science or Social Work from a recognized institution.
Experience	Minimum 5 years of domain experience in Rural Development and Tribal Welfare preferred.
Computer Skills	Basic knowledge of IT and computer applications required.
Age Limit	Not more than 35 years as on the last date of application.

For MIS/Programme (FRA) Associate

Criteria	Details
Educational Qualification	B.Sc. / B.A. in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or Social Science from a recognized institution.
Computer Skills	Must have at least a Diploma in IT / Computer Applications.
Experience	Minimum 2 years of experience in large-scale data processing and management.
Age Limit	Not more than 35 years as on the last date of application.

Selection Process

1. Shortlisting: Based on eligibility, experience, and qualifications.
2. Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be called for a personal interview.
3. Document Verification: Candidates must bring original documents and attested copies at the time of the interview.
4. Note: No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.

Tenure and Conditions of Service

Particulars	Details
Nature of Appointment	Purely contractual and temporary.
Duration	Initially for 11 months, renewable for another 11 months based on satisfactory performance.
Project Period	2 years (as per government guidelines).
Termination	Can be terminated at any time without assigning any reason.
Other Conditions	No claim for regularization in government service after contract completion.
