Pay Scale
The pay scale and allowances will be as per the UGC norms and Government of Assam rules applicable to college Principals.
Eligibility Criteria
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks (or equivalent grade) from a recognized university.
- Ph.D. Degree from a recognized university.
- Professor/Associate Professor with a total of at least 15 years of teaching/research experience in universities, colleges, or institutions of higher education.
- Must have a minimum API score as per the UGC regulation Appendix-I for direct recruitment of Principals.
- Minimum 10 research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals.
- Minimum 110 research score as per UGC Regulation 2018 (Appendix-II, Table-2).
- A relaxation of 5% marks may be provided at the Master’s level for SC/ST/Differently abled candidates as per UGC norms.
