Eligibility Criteria

Citizenship & ResidencyMust be Indian and a permanent resident of Assam. Upload valid Assam PRC (for educational/employment) or Employment Exchange Registration.
Educational QualificationMinimum: Class VIII passed. Maximum allowed: HSSLC (Class 12). Candidates with higher qualification than Class 12 will be disqualified.
Age Limit (as on 01 Jan 2025)Minimum: 18 years Maximum: 40 years
Age RelaxationSC / ST: +5 years (to 45) OBC / MOBC / Tea Tribe / Adivasi: +3 years (to 43) PwBD (all categories): +10 years

Selection Process

  1. Phase I – Screening Test (OMR, 100 Marks, 2 Hours)
    • Arithmetic: 20 marks
    • GK (Assam specific): 20 marks
    • Reasoning: 20 marks
    • Social Science: 20 marks
    • Science: 10 marks
    • English (Elementary): 10 marks
  2. Phase II – Interview / Viva-Voce
    • Candidates will be shortlisted in a 1:5 ratio per category from Phase I to be called for interview.
