Eligibility Criteria

  • Educational qualification must be from a recognized Board / Council / Institution.
  • Candidates must produce proof of age (HS / Matriculation certificate or equivalent).

Sports Norms / Achievement Criteria

  • Sports achievements considered should be in the immediate previous two financial years, i.e. events held on or after 01 April 2023.
  • For Level 5 / 4, minimum standard: at least 3rd position in Category-B championships/events.
  • For Level 3 / 2, acceptable standards include representing India in Category-B events, or 3rd position in Category-C, or National / Inter-University / Games / Federation Cup performances.
  • For Level 1, standards include representation at national or state level, or medal / ranking in recognized championships (details as per official norms).
  • Achievements in sports discipline events conducted by recognized federations will be accepted.
  • Sportspersons eligible for higher grades are also eligible for lower grades.

Selection Procedure

  1. Sports Trials / Performance Assessment
    • Trial Committee evaluates game skill, physical fitness, coach observations.
    • Maximum 40 marks awarded.
    • Candidates scoring 25 or more will be declared FIT; others will be rejected.
  2. Interview / Assessment by Recruitment Committee
    • Interview adds up to 60 marks covering sports achievements, educational qualifications, etc.
    • Only FIT candidates will be interviewed.
  3. Merit List and Final Selection
    • Final score = Trial marks (out of 40) + Interview marks (out of 60) → total out of 100.
    • Minimum qualifying marks differ by level:
      • Levels 5 / 4 (GP ₹2800 / ₹2400): 70 marks
      • Levels 3 / 2 (GP ₹2000 / ₹1900): 65 marks
      • Level 1 (GP ₹1800): 60 marks
    • In case of tie scores, younger candidates will be preferred.

  2. Fill the application form online between 16 September 2025 and 15 October 2025.
  3. Enter a valid mobile number and e-mail ID (used for updates via SMS / E-mail).
  4. Upload required documents:
    • Passport-size photograph (30–70 KB, JPG / JPEG)
    • Signature (20–50 KB, JPG / JPEG)
    • Educational certificates / mark sheets
    • Sports achievement certificate(s)
    • Proof of date of birth
    • Caste / minority / EBC certificate (if applicable)
    • NOC (if employed in govt / PSU / bank)
  5. Pay application fee (if applicable).
  6. Submit application — do not send printouts or documents by post.

Document verification will be done at the time of trials or interview – candidates must bring original documents.
