Eligibility Criteria of CAU Gangtok Recruitment 2025

Criteria	Details
Essential Qualification	M.Tech./M.E./M.Sc. in Electronics, Electrical, ECE, EEE, Digital Systems, Computer Electronics, Electronics & Computer Science, Instrumentation, Physics, or related discipline with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.ORPh.D./M.Tech./M.Sc. in Soil & Water Conservation Engineering, SWE, WRM, Irrigation & Drainage Engineering, IWM, FMPE, Horticulture, Agronomy, or equivalent with a 4/5-year Bachelor’s degree.
Desirable Qualification	Experience in sensor-based and IoT-embedded systems, microcontrollers in agriculture or water management.
Age Limit	35 years for male and 40 years for female candidates.
Experience Requirement	Candidates with PG in Basic Sciences must have NET qualification and 2 years of research experience as per ICAR/ DST norms.

1. Candidates must bring a detailed CV, photograph, NOC (if employed), and original documents for verification.
2. The engagement is purely temporary, initially for 5–6 months, extendable based on performance and project requirements.
3. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview.
4. The position does not confer any right for regular appointment or absorption in CAU or ICAR.
5. The selected candidate should be ready for fieldwork and travel as required by the project.
6. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
7. The Dean, CAEPHT reserves the right to cancel or postpone the interview.
