Selection Process

The selection process will be conducted in three stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT)
2. Document Verification (DV)
3. Medical Examination

CBT Syllabus

• Professional Ability: Relevant to the post applied (Nursing, Pharmacy, Lab Technology, Radiography, etc.).
• General Awareness: Current Affairs, Indian Polity, Economy, Geography, Railways-related knowledge, and General Knowledge.
• Arithmetic/Reasoning: Simplification, Percentage, Ratio & Proportion, Coding-Decoding, Puzzles, Analogies, Syllogism, Series.
• General Science: Class 10 standard Physics, Chemistry, Biology.

How to Apply?

1. Read Instructions: Go through the detailed notification carefully before applying online.
2. Create Account:
   • Use the official RRB website link to create an account.
   • Candidates with existing accounts can log in with the same credentials.
   • A valid mobile number and email ID are mandatory. No changes allowed later.
   • Aadhaar/DigiLocker verification is recommended for faster verification.
3. Fill Application:
   • Enter correct details in the online form and re-check before submission.
   • No corrections allowed after submission.
   • Choose your exam language (English, Hindi, or one of 13 regional languages).
   • Submit only one application. Multiple applications will be rejected.
4. Fee Payment:
   • Pay the application fee through the available online modes only.
   • Application is accepted only after successful fee payment.
5. Live Photograph:
   • A live photo will be captured during application (via webcam or mobile camera).
   • Ensure proper lighting, dark-colored clothes, no cap/mask/glasses, and a neutral expression.
   • Retake if not satisfied. Photos not meeting guidelines will be rejected.
6. Documents to Upload:
   • Signature: Scanned in black ink on white paper, cursive handwriting only, JPG/JPEG format (30–49 KB).
   • SC/ST Certificate (if applicable for free travel pass): PDF format, clear, legible, and less than 400 KB.
7. Signature Rules:
   • Must be in running handwriting (not block/capital).
   • Must match the signature at exams, DV, medical, and appointment.
   • Wrong/unclear/blank signature leads to rejection.
