About The Post

Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup (M), Guwahati has released an official notification inviting applications in Standard Form from eligible Indian citizens (as defined under Articles 5 & 6 of the Constitution of India) for filling up 15 vacant posts of Peon, Driver, and Process Server under Kamrup Metro Judiciary on a regular basis.

Eligibility Criteria

Post	Educational Qualification	Other Requirements
Peon	Must have passed Class VIII. Those who have passed HSSLC or above are not eligible.	Knowledge of Assamese language is essential.
Driver	Must have passed Class X (HSLC) from a recognized board. Must possess a valid LMV driving license.	Knowledge of Assamese language is essential.
Process Server	Must have passed Class X (HSLC) from a recognized board.	Knowledge of Assamese language is essential.

Candidates applying for the post of Peon and Driver must submit a self-declaration stating that they have not passed HSSLC or higher qualification.

Application Process

• Candidates must apply in Standard Form (Part IX of Assam Gazette).
• Application must be accompanied with:
  • 4 (four) recent passport-size photographs.
  • Self-attested copies of all educational certificates and relevant testimonials.
  • Driving license (for Driver post).
• Applications must be submitted in hard copy only at: Office of the District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup (M), Guwahati, Panbazar, near Dighali Pukhuri, Cotton College Road, Pin Code: 781001

Terms & Conditions

1. Age relaxation applicable as per Assam Govt. norms. Age will be calculated as on 01.01.2025.
2. Applicants in Government service must apply through proper channel and produce NOC.
3. Incomplete applications (e.g., missing photograph, signature, mobile number) will be rejected.
4. Original documents must be produced when called for.
5. False or misleading information in application will lead to disqualification and legal action.
6. Canvassing in any form will lead to disqualification.
7. The list of provisionally selected candidates will be uploaded on the official website.
8. The District & Sessions Judge, Kamrup (M) reserves the right to cancel or modify the advertisement without prior notice.
