  • Post Graduation in Geology or Applied Geology (minimum 2-year duration) from a Government-recognized University/Institute.

Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in the Exploration and Production (E&P) sector, specifically in Drilling Operations in the North-East region.

Job Profile & Responsibilities

Key Duties

  • Field and office assignments related to geological work in NE India
  • Involvement in wellsite activities including drilling and workover operations
  • May require work in shifts and remote locations under arduous conditions
  • On-call duty as required by company

Required Skills

  • Understanding of petroleum systems and Assam-Arakan Basin
  • Interpretation of open-hole and cased-hole logs
  • Preparation of depth contour maps and geological cross-sections
  • Sedimentological analysis and litholog preparation
  • Working knowledge of MS Office, CorelDRAW, Petrel software

General Terms and Conditions

  • Contract is initially for 6 months, extendable up to 1 year
  • Engagement does not confer right to permanent employment
  • Selected candidates must produce medical fitness and character verification at the time of joining
  • No TA/DA will be paid for attending the interview
  • Selected candidates will not be provided accommodation
  • The contract can be terminated by either party with 15 days’ notice
  • Engagement may be terminated for misconduct or false information
