About the Post
The Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) 2.0 is a state-sponsored initiative by the Government of Assam to provide one-time financial assistance to eligible unemployed youths. Following the success of its first phase, CMAAA 2.0 has been launched to further promote self-reliance among Assam’s youth.

Eligibility Criteria
Residency:
- Applicants must be permanent residents of Assam.
Age Limit:
- Candidates must be between 28 and 45 years old as of 1st April 2024.
Educational Qualification:
- General category candidates must have passed Class 10.
- Candidates from SC/ST/OBC categories must have completed at least Class 10.
Skill Qualification:
- Applicants should possess skills obtained through ITI or Diploma programs for income-generating activities.
Bank Account:
- A bank account must have been opened before 1st April 2024.
Loan Defaults:
- The applicant should not have defaulted on any loan from Co-operative or Nationalized Banks.
Government Service:
- Candidates should not be from families with government service holders or pensioners.
Family Eligibility:
- Only one family member can apply.
- Beneficiaries of CMAAA 1.0 are not eligible.
Employment Exchange Registration:
- A valid registration in the Employment Exchange is mandatory.
