About the Answer Key

The Directorate of Secondary Education (DSE), Assam, has conducted the Teachers Eligibility Test (TET) cum Recruitment Test 2024 for the recruitment of 9717 Graduate Teachers (GT) and Post Graduate Teachers (PGT) in various High Schools and Secondary Schools across Assam. Candidates who appeared for the exam on 19/01/2025 can now check and download the official answer key.

Eligibility Criteria

Job Position	Educational Qualification	Additional Requirements
Graduate Teacher (GT)	– Post Graduate degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks. – B.Ed. qualification from an NCTE-recognized institution.	Language Criteria: – Assamese Medium Schools: HSLC with Assamese or diploma from Assam Sahitya Sabha. – Bengali Medium Schools: HSLC with Bengali or diploma from Barak Upatyaka Bangya Sahitya O Sanskriti Sammelan. – Hindi Medium Schools: HSLC with Hindi or studied in a Hindi Medium School. – Bodo Medium Schools: HSLC with Bodo or studied in a Bodo Medium School. – English Medium Schools: HSLC with Alternative English or studied from Class XI onwards in an English Medium School.
Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)	– Post Graduate degree in the concerned subject with at least 50% marks. – B.Ed. qualification from an NCTE-recognized institution.	Note: Degrees obtained through off-campus and distance education modes are not considered valid.
